31/52

"A portrait of my husband and our marriage, once a week, every week, in 2013."

One portrait this week. Taken with his iPhone,
before the nurses wheeled me into theatre. It's all I could manage but I think it perfectly represents our week. He was there when I woke up. I can't even describe how much that means to me and how reassured I felt. We are in this together. I love this man.

Thank you for the comments, texts, emails after my last post. Your thoughtful and kind words of support mean so much.

Participating in the 52 Portraits series led by Jodi at Che & Fidel. You can view all of my weekly portraits by clicking on the button in the sidebar.
