15/52

"A portrait of my husband and our marriage, once a week, every week, in 2013."

Richard: Tough Mudder.
We: are constantly reminding ourselves to put away distractions and spend time just being together. When we do, we're at our best.

Last week, it was quiet moments of childhood wonderment that caught my eye. Whether it be sleeping under the stars, discovering the clouds in the sky or watching the world go by in the afternoon sun.

Participating in the 52 Portraits series led by Jodi at Che & FidelYou can view all of my weekly portraits by clicking on the button in the sidebar.

  1. Nice colours in the first and I love your bicycle. beautiful! And I like your take on the 52 portrait project
can I ask a silly question? I can't figure out how to add that 52 button to my blog. Can you explain?? ( at the risk of sounding dumb, I am relatively new to blogging; it's the only excuse I have!)
Have just included you as one of my faves for this week xx

    1. Thanks so much, Deborah!
It's so not a dumb question, it took me AGES to figure out adding the button too!! As it turns out the button is the easier part - it gets a little bit more complex if you want to add a link to the button as well. ie. to direct readers who click on it either to your full list of portraits so far (as I've done) or back to Che & Fidel.
To add the button, you first need to look at your blog layout to work out the right size - Jodi has made a 250px and a 170px sized button available. Looking at your blog, I reckon 250px may fit but you can check in your blog template settings (let me know if you need directions there).
So download your relevant sized button from here (click on the size you want and follow the prompts): http://cheandfidel.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-52-project.html
Then go back into your blogger settings, go to Layout / Add a gadget /search for the Add Image gadget. Upload the button image / add a title / add a link back to Che & Fidel if you want, or another page if you wish - and save. That ought to do it! drop me an email if you get stuck.
      Good luck! Belinda xx
