Holding onto what's golden

Man, this week. It wasn't my favourite.

The beach is one of the best ways to bring me back to centre. I never thought I would end up living by the sea, but now I don't know how I ever lived without it.

We spent the final hour of light on a blustery, chilly Friday afternoon watching heavy waves lash the coast. Together, dusted with salt as the wind howled and the golden light lifted us into the weekend.

  3. A friend of mine has just moved from the eastern burbs of Melbourne to Mornington on the coast. Her husband is from WA and they've always talked about living by the beach and have now done it. There is something invigorating about it and every time we holiday by the sea are inspired and amazed by how recharging it is, how it fills the soul. I'm sorry you had a bad week - sending virtual hugs.

    1. Thank you :-) You're so right, being by the sea fills the soul. There's something about that ebb & flow that puts everything into perspective. Belinda x
